Our Inspiration & Our Aspiration

Leila developed the original ideas for Eve & Green during a yoga retreat in Bali. As this young professional enjoyed a time of peaceful contemplation, an epiphany occurred. It made sense to combine one’s mind, body, and spirit in all aspects of life, including the beauty products used each day.

As Leila thought further about how to turn this idea into reality, she realized that taking care of the planet was essential to self-care. It was a lesson that her parents instilled in her from the very beginning. Her connections to French and Moroccan culture had always inspired an enthusiasm for Fair Trade and global unification. How could she turn those experiences into something to which everyone could relate?

Then Leila knew what needed to happen. Eve & Green would need to focus on an ethical revolution, only using items that come from sustainable resources.

It wasn’t good enough to be pro-woman. Eve & Green needed to be pro-Earth and pro-wellness to make the positive impacts initially envisioned.

Leila realized that the only way to inspire the next generation of women was to show how everyone is beautiful. By demonstrating to the outside world the passion that lives inside of the soul, each person can find the confidence needed to be a positive force for change.

As the Eve & Green community rallied around these ideas, a return to essential values and oneness became priorities for the brand. Each product is something that represents pride in the new approach to living that Leila envisioned while on a Bali jungle. Women who can focus all of their energy into wellness flourish, encouraging the rest of the world to grow.

Instead of trying to look beautiful for everyone else first, Leila wants all women to see themselves as being graceful, magnificent, and exquisite in who they are.
